Meet the Family Behind Speech Flow Therapy
Speech Flow Therapy is a family-built, faith-rooted practice founded by Omar and Lorena Gonzalez to serve families and schools with clinical excellence, personal accountability, and purpose.
What began as a vision to provide thoughtful, individualized speech-language services has grown into something we hope will make a lasting difference—helping people communicate more clearly while building trusted relationships with the families, schools, and communities we serve.

Meet Lorena Gonzalez
Education, Family & Vision
Lorena Gonzalez brings an important educational and family perspective to the vision behind Speech Flow Therapy.
Her background includes experience as a bilingual elementary educator, along with continued experience in educational leadership. Her years working directly with children, families, classrooms, and educators provide a valuable perspective on how communication skills affect much more than a therapy session.
Lorena has also played an important role in the vision and development of Speech Flow Therapy as a family-built company—helping shape the heart behind how we want families and schools to be served.
While Lorena does not provide speech-language pathology clinical services, her experience in education and her perspective as both an educator and parent contribute to the broader mission of the practice.
Why Speech Flow Therapy?
The name Speech Flow Therapy reflects more than speech itself.
Communication is meant to move—to help someone express a thought, understand another person, participate in a classroom, tell a story, ask a question, build a relationship, or confidently communicate what matters.
We wanted the word Flow to represent that forward movement.
Our goal is not simply to complete assessments or therapy activities. We want to help communication move toward greater clarity, confidence, connection, and purpose.
Our faith has also shaped the way we view this work. We believe the abilities, opportunities, and responsibility we have been given should be stewarded well. That means serving people with excellence, treating families with compassion, operating with integrity, and remembering that the person behind the evaluation score or therapy goal matters.
That is the heart behind Speech Flow Therapy:
Communication that flows with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
The Meaning Behind Our Logo
Our logo was designed to reflect the same ideas that shape Speech Flow Therapy.
Connection
The interconnected design represents the relationships at the center of communication—between individuals, families, educators, and the people around them.
Forward Movement
The flowing lines represent progress. Communication development is a process, and meaningful growth often happens through consistent steps forward.
Communication
The design reflects the exchange and movement of thoughts, ideas, understanding, and expression that make communication meaningful.
Purpose
Every element points back to our belief that communication has purpose. It allows people to connect, participate, advocate, learn, express themselves, and be understood.
The design also subtly incorporates the letters
“S” and “F”, representing Speech Flow within the movement of the logo itself.
Faith-Rooted. Professionally Grounded. Open to Everyone.
Our faith shapes the integrity, compassion, stewardship, and excellence with which we serve.
Speech Flow Therapy welcomes every family and educational partner, regardless of background or belief.
Our commitment is to treat every person we work with respectfully, professionally, and with genuine care.
Personal Service. Professional Excellence. Purposeful Progress.
Speech Flow Therapy was created to offer something personal.
Families should understand who is working with their child. Schools should know who is responsible for the services they receive. Questions should have clear answers. Recommendations should have a purpose.
As an owner-led practice, we value accountability, communication, and relationships just as much as clinical excellence.
Whether we are working with an individual family or partnering with a school, we want the experience to reflect the same commitment:
Clear communication. Thoughtful service. Meaningful progress.
